When I was walking in Cromwell Valley Park with my sister and youngest daughter, we came across this beauty in a field of tall grasses. She was so quiet and still, and allowed us to walk up very close to her. We spoke gently to her in greeting, she raised her head looked at us for a long moment, and then she slowly walked away. It was such a still, calming moment. Thank you, sweet deer, for allowing us to say hello.
